Regulation 18 Preferred Options Consultation 31st October - 15th December 2025
The Council is consulting between 31st October and 15th December 2025 on its Regulation 18 Preferred Options Local Plan. During this time the Council is accepting comments, supporting, objecting or neutral on the draft Local Plan.

Phases
Post Consultation: Analysis of Responses
Following the close of this consultation, the Council will review the feedback given and publish the responses made.
The Council will then update the plan and go out to a Regulation 19 (pre submission) consultation within 2026.
After the pre submission consultation closes, the Council aim to submit the final plan to the Planning Inspectorate to be examined.
Following the close of the examination the Planning Inspectorate will either find the plan to be "sound" or not. If found sound, the Council will then look to adopt the plan and it will form part of the development plan for the area.
