The Council is consulting between 31st October and 15th December 2025 on its Regulation 18 Preferred Options Local Plan. During this time the Council is accepting comments, supporting, objecting or neutral on the draft Local Plan.

Public Consultation: Breckland Local Plan (Regulation 18) October 2025
Following the increase in the housing numbers set out by the Government in December 2024, The Council has reviewed its Local Plan and is now seeking views on the new Draft Breckland Local Plan.
To make comments on the Local Plan, please press the "Take part in the consultation" button.
Please be aware, this consultation will end on Monday 15th December 2025. Please ensure you have sent your comments to us before the consultation closes.
